A refined and harmonious universe that brings together the ensemble of the group’s brands
The concept of interior living by Boffi|DePadova finds a new dimension and new spaces at number 16 Boulevard Raspail, within the 7th arrondissement, rich in artistic and cultural places. Among the first to establish their presence in the Ville Lumière 50 years ago with the showroom on Boulevard Saint-Germain, the Italian-made company opens the doors of its new 900m². A refined apartment in every respect developed on two levels, where the visitor is invited to undertake a sensory and material journey designed by the Creative Direction of the Boffi|DePadova group.
16 Boulevard Raspail reflects the design imprint of Boffi|DePadova, which focuses on the choice of its design destinations worldwide following its impeccable taste for art and cultural influences. Formerly home to the luxury fashion brand Kenzo, the space is described by architectural elements: the wide staircase that connects the ground floor to the first, the columns and vaults that define the surfaces, while a majestic skylight allows the passage of natural light.
The environment is welcoming, told by a succession of very different shapes, but perfectly in harmony. It is a synergistic encounter of multiple eclectic visions that converge into a single reality. We find Boffi and its integrated proposals for bathrooms, wardrobe systems, and kitchens, including CASE 5.0 – BECOMING, Piero Lissoni’s review twenty years after its first version, with new measures and materials specifically designed. When it comes to architectural design, ADL and its partition systems favor fluidity in movement between spaces, also acting as connecting elements. The rhythm is dictated by contemporary design and De Padova lighting and by the various artistic visions that have contributed to its collections, not only in the profiles of the products, but also in the choice of fabrics, color palettes, attentive and sustainable details. Evidence of this is the EVERYDAY LIFE collection designed by Paul Smith, the Raffles project revisited in collaboration with Society Limonta and its archive fabrics, according to an interpretation that only Vico Magistretti could inspire. Not to be missed are the minimal geometries of Scandinavian design of the R.I.G. systems signed by MA/U Studio and the multifaceted Japanese-inspired works of Time & Style ēdition.
To the scenic impact contributes a refined styling, with key elements that give coherence respecting full and empty, coordinating and connecting each individual piece as part of a unique system.
“We reaffirm our positioning in the market and in the European design scene with the opening of the Boffi|DePadova Paris space at Boulevard Raspail,” declares Roberto Gavazzi, CEO of Boffi|DePadova. “Not only that: it is the occasion to underline and strengthen our commitment as corporate strategy, making multiple realities and different languages coexist in a living proposal increasingly identifiable at an international level.”
