Sea of Tranquillity

A designer table taking its cue from the ‘torii’, the arch of the portals in a traditional Shinto shrine: the lines are slender, the edges rounded, the two legs supporting the tabletop are light, almost airy. The rectangular table, Sea of Tranquillity, the name of which recalls the moon landing, fits into the living room with elegance and versatility, adding a form to the rooms that’s reminiscent of traditional Japanese interior design. Perfect in both the bleached and charcoal grey versions, it’s available in four different sizes. It’s an absolute hero in the living room or as a modern dining table. The frame and tabletop are made of solid beech painted snow white or charcoal grey, finished in water- or solvent-based transparent varnish.
