The deconstruction of shadows. An interplay of solids and voids outlines this deconstructed lamp. A light source rested on a bronze cylinder is equipped with two moving panels, one in satin-finish brass-coloured aluminium and another in translucent alabaster, creating elegant light effects. These backdrops made of different materials offer an alternation of warm and delicate lighting. Lastly, the black cotton thread features a dimming system that adjusts the intensity of the light fixture.
“For this collaboration with De Padova, I have created small, bright architectures that elegantly and discreetly blend with the brand’s warm and inviting domestic landscape.” – Marco Zanuso Jr
