Matter at the service of light. Helium is a modular lamp, designed by Elisa Ossino for De Padova, that serves as a sculpture of light, resembling a series of geometric shapes characterised by a flowing rhythm, alluding to the possibility of infinite expansion.
Featuring one, two or three modules, this lamp is expressed in the warm reflections of the glass, opening up the imagination to surprising compositions and evocatively entering the scene, even in spaces marked by important heights. Helium is available in two different finishes: in glass with special craftsmanship, working the still-warm matter with micro-sand grains to achieve exclusive, soft shading effects; or in hand-blown triplex opaline and etched glass, which softens the transparency, giving the surface a velvety appearance.
The panes are connected by an internal aluminium system that supports the frame without the need for other visible fastening systems. The subtle forms in a black soft-touch finish, highlight the joints. The lamp is available in a table, suspended and floorstanding version, in which the glass base is delicately lit, just like the modules. The warm, diffuse light is adjustable using the dimmer on the cable or in the canopy.
