A garden bench that combines minimalist lines and sartorial details in Paul Smith’s signature style. Everyday Life Bench Outdoor belongs to a series of outdoor furnishings that share the same distinctive outlines as the EVERYDAY LIFE indoor catalogue. Designed for maximum comfort, this outdoor bench features a solid Iroko timber frame with a Marine plywood seat with a thin layer of polyurethane foam, covered in cognac-coloured EVA with a red or blue seam. Contrasting primary tones and simple stitching evoke Paul Smith’s heritage in fashion, applied to interior design with stylish details such as the exposed joints recalling the Japanese cabinet-making tradition much admired by the designer, and which echoes the minimalism of Japanese interior design. As in all pieces in the collection, this garden bench also features a skilful use of colour that expertly ranges from classic to vibrant with sophisticated ease, in a carefully considered palette of earthy tones and new shades, together with sustainable materials of natural origin.
