LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2023: BOFFI|DEPADOVA BRIGHTENS UP ITS CHELSEA SHOWROOM WITH PAUL SMITH’S COLORFUL APPROACH & THE LONGSTANDING TRADITIONS OF TIME & STYLE ĒDITION.

From 16 to 24 September 2023, on the occasion of the London Design Festival, Boffi|DePadova presents a restyled Chelsea showroom thanks to a series of the latest collaborations and the group’s ability to bring together a variety of aesthetic languages.

The 900-sqm space of Boffi|DePadova Chelsea unites innovation and craftsmanship into a comprehensive interiors offering by way of its Boffi, ADL and De Padova brands as well as its collaborations with Time & Style ēdition and Paul Smith + De Padova.

The event is a chance for design enthusiasts and industry professionals to discover the latest Boffi|DePadova collections within a carefully considered installation of Time & Style ēdition lamps that highlight the details and manufacturing traditions of the Japanese design brand.

The Nagoya, Bombori and Lantern lamps, made with washi paper, are representative of this artistic tradition and for the design festival a specially created graphic design showing cherry blossom trees will feature on showroom windows.

Japanese craftsmanship, like its Italian counterpart, is recognised throughout the world for its quality, excellence and cultural heritage deeply rooted in tradition. It is precisely for this reason that the Nagoya, Bombori and Lantern lamps will feature prominently to honour the eclectic vision of this year’s edition of the London Design Festival.

Also catching the eye is the versatile range of colours from the EVERYDAY LIFE collection designed by Paul Smith for De Padova. The collaboration with the London designer, now in its second edition, carves out its own path by adding outdoor pieces and a modular sofa to the Boffi|DePadova offering.

Detailed stitching, a palette of unexpected colours, sustainable materials and a minimalist design are present in this 2023 proposal which aims to further demonstrate the group’s desire to experiment with ideas, designs and concepts that can branch out into worlds beyond that of interior living.
