Located in the heart of Milan’s upscale Brera district, Boffi Solferino is a key reference point for design enthusiasts and fans of high-end furnishings.
Inaugurated in 1998 as a showroom devoted exclusively to bathrooms, it was the company’s first monobrand store.
To enter Boffi Solferino is to embark on a journey into a living concept set within a luxury apartment where the spaces are free of commercial overtones.
The architecture preserves the atmosphere of a classic Milanese loft infused with post-industrial details where the mood is highlighted by subtle shades of anthracite grey framed by shapes, colours, combinations and materials chosen by the creative direction of the style department of Boffi| DePadova.
Thanks to large window fronts, the two entrances of the Solferino showroom offer a view of the layout of the first floor. From the courtyard, one proceeds towards the main entrance where a staircase connects the ground floor with the first floor. Set across 1,600 m², each kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe setting offers a continuous interplay of solids and voids, volumes and materials that tells the Boffi story.
Cosy settings draw on everyday inspirations that have been carefully studied and illuminated to offer a different atmosphere in each layout across the floors.
In 2010, the Appartamento concept – a real-life home interior designed and furnished with a living area, sleeping area, kitchen and bathrooms – was integrated into the space. The decision arose from a strong desire to exhibit the innovative, consistent product offer and versatile aesthetics from Boffi. This is ably paired with pieces from De Padova in a new and intimate area inaugurated in 2018 with its entrance on Largo Treves. This is again seen following the introduction of ADL parition systems and the arrival of the Japanase-inspired Time & Style ēdition collection.
The display offers an overview of the entire range that is designed to enhance the visual and communicative impact.
